SUPERCOMPRESSOR TECHNOLOGY
Supercompressor is a 1957 patent by the historic inventor and manufacturer Ervin Piquerez S.A. (EPSA), which covers both dual-crown and single-crown or crown cases with buttons.
It is a patented system of watertight closing of the case, which increases the waterproofing capacity of the watch as marine pressure increases: the deeper the immersion, the greater the pressure applied on the back, which will be sealed against the O-ring seal.
The sea pressure, usually the biggest enemy of the underwater diver, with the Super Compressor becomes his great ally.
